Virginia Creeper
Oh my goodness...please don't ever buy or plant this in your gardens....
Also don't touch it with your bare skin! This is what can happen when you do! It has similar oils to poison Ivy & poison oak, and can cause similar reactions on the skin. (Pictures of our arms this summer from pulling Virginia Creeper out at client properties).
And while technically it is native to North America, it is very hard to get rid of, once you have it in the ground on your property.
And if you do have to work around it, wear protective gear & wash all your clothes & tools afterwards.
You can often find Virginia Creeper and Poison Ivy growing in close proximity. Can you guess which is which?
